Storytelling

Interactive storytelling

Having a 3D model of the interior, the researcher can create immersive animations and video panoramas that could be the beginning of interactive storytelling.

I will develop the 3D model of Charles Church to create an arena for all of the virtual experiments. Interactive panoramas and video panoramas will be generated in 3D modelling software, merged with a spherical video which will be recorded with a spherical video camera. The video panorama from the reconstructed site will simply be the background for the interactive storytelling.

The aim is not to create a game, which could be called an ‘abstract storytelling’. Games are a goal-oriented form of the interactive entertainment. Creation of interactive storytelling with elements of edutainment based on group-based interactivity with a system of rewards and penalties, which is a tremendously powerful motivator, is also a very important project for the research.

A pageant in two episodes

Historic Charles - a pageant in two episodes

I found this book in Rev. Roger Williams' achives. I will do more research about this historical document.

I am looking for people who would like to take part in the performance based in 3D model of reconstructed Charles Church.

All artists are welcome to take part in this project.

A platform for interactive narrative

Please let me know if you want to contribute in a digital performance that will be recorded for 360-degree screen. The screening of this new form of narrative will take place in Plymouth in September 2009.
